India Post GDS 2nd Merit List Overview

The second merit list includes candidates who were not selected in the first round but meet the revised cut-off based on their Class 10 marks.

Note: Merit lists for Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal have been withheld in some regions due to the Model Code of Conduct.

 

How to Check the GDS 2nd Merit List 2026

1. Visit Official Portal: Go to indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

2. Navigate to Shortlisted Candidates: Look for the “Candidate’s Corner” on the left sidebar.

3. Select Circle: Click on the “Shortlisted Candidates” tab and select your respective state/circle.Download PDF: Click on “Supplementary List-II” to download the PDF.

   Search for Name/ID: Open the PDF and use Ctrl + F to search for your registration number.

    

What Next? Document Verification (DV)

If your name appears in the 2nd merit list, you must report to the designated divisional office for document verification by April 27, 2026.

Required Documents:

• Original 10th Standard Marksheet/Certificate.

• Caste/Community Certificate (if applicable).

• Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN, etc.).

• Medical Certificate from a medical officer.

• Two sets of photocopies of all documents.
