CTET September 2026 Overview

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Minimum 17 years. There is no upper age limit for CTET.

• Educational Qualification:

  • Paper I (Classes I-V): Senior Secondary with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR 4-year B.El.Ed.

  • Paper II (Classes VI-VIII): Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed OR 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.El.Ed.

  • Final year students of teaching diploma/degree courses are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply for CTET September 2026

1. Visit the official portal at ctet.nic.in.

2. Click on the link “Apply for CTET Sept 2026”.

3. Register using your mobile number and email ID to get your Application Number.

4. Fill in the application form with personal and educational details.

5. Upload scanned copies of your Photograph (10-100 KB) and Signature (3-30 KB) in JPG/JPEG format.

6. Pay the examination fee online and download the Confirmation Page for future reference.
