Eligibility Criteria

• Gender: Only Male candidates are eligible.

• Educational Qualification: * UR/OBC/EWS/SC: 10th Pass (High School).

  • ST: 8th Pass.

  • Musical Skill: Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument is mandatory.

• Age Limit (as of April 19, 2026): * Minimum: 18 years

  • Maximum (UR/EWS): 33 years

  • Maximum (Reserved Categories/MP Domicile): 38 years

     

Selection Process & Salary

Unlike standard constable roles, this recruitment focuses heavily on musical ability and does not include a written exam.

1. Skill Test: Initial screening of instrument handling.

2. Band Performance Test: Practical evaluation of musical talent (carrying significant weightage).

3. Interview: Personality and knowledge assessment.

4. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Height (168 cm for UR/OBC) and Chest (81-86 cm) requirements.

5. Document Verification & Medical Exam.

Pay Scale: ₹19,500 – ₹62,000 (Level 4). Note that during the 3-year probation, you will receive a graded stipend (70%, 80%, and 90% of the minimum pay respectively).
